Bereavement and Spiritual Care: Judy Tralnes, chairman
The committee's primary mission is support for both our clients and the volunteers who serve them. We maintain a lending library and grief related tapes, videos, books and periodicals. We provide contacts with Island faith groups, a scheduled monthly Grief Support Group, periodic mailings of support to the bereaved, and we facilitate an Annual Community Remembrance Celebration. As in all matters of the organization, client confidentiality is maintained.
The committee also arranges or supports opportunities for the continuing education of our volunteers in areas of spirituality and grief support. We invite your suggestions and inquiries for service and can be reached through our office number or any volunteer.
